Why are Kraft boxes eco-friendly? The boxes are “unbleached”, which makes them recyclable and biodegradable. They’re plant-based (i.e. pine pulp). Very few chemicals are used in the manufacturing process and these chemicals are recovered, reused, and recycled.

Not a fan of watching trees getting chopped down, but the one good thing that came out it were branches of loose Eucalyptus leaves, which I hung in my shower. Multiple studies show the medicinal properties of Eucalyptus, including being an antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial, and antioxidant. Not to mention it’s refreshing it’s scent, which opens up those sinuses.
Happy and Safe 4th of July 😎☀️🇺🇸. Started this weekend getting rid of plastic in my home. I’m not 100% plastic-free yet, but it’s a work in progress. Shout out to eco now, california for having beautifully scented, natural household and cosmetic products you can re-fill your glass bottles and jars with. No need to go shopping at a “regular” store to by products in plastic packaging over and over again. Find a re-fill shop near you and get rid of plastic 😊

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (2010) designated Titanium Oxide as a carcinogen, due to studies that found an increase in lung cancers after inhalation exposures in animals. Titanium Oxide is less effective at blocking UVA rays (I and II) compared to Zinc Oxide (both are effect blocking UVB rays).
Research (as early as 1997) has shown petrochemicals, such as Oxybenzone, Octinoxate, Octisalate, Octocrylene, Homosalate, Avobenzones, and more, are systemically absorbed in the body and have been linked to hormone disruption by mimicking estrogen (think cancer in humans, marine animals/plants, and fish). These ingredients are not biodegradable and puts coral reefs at risk of toxicity and infections, which lead to coral bleaching and death (NOT reef-safe).
