‼️ TOMORROW, a stadium in New Jersey is expected to fill with people praying for a 12-year-old boy who has remained in a coma since a baseball struck him in the neck nearly FOUR MONTHS AGO.

And wherever you live, Xavier Taylor’s family is asking you to pray with them.

I’ve been following Xavier since May 26th, when he was accidentally struck during baseball warmups, collapsed and went into cardiac arrest.

He survived.

But Xavier remains in a coma as his family continues waiting, hoping and praying for the breakthrough they desperately want.

Tomorrow, that prayer is getting MUCH bigger.

From 5 to 7 p.m. Eastern, families, churches, pastors and complete strangers are being invited to Karcher Field at the Woodlawn Sports Center in Maple Shade, New Jersey, for a Night of Prayer & Praise centered around Xavier.

But organizers don’t want the prayers to stop at the stadium.

They are asking people across the country and around the world to stop wherever they are and join them.

That means here in Texas, set a reminder for 4 p.m. Saturday.

Pray from your home. Your church. Your car. A hospital room. Gather your family around the kitchen table.

Just PRAY. 🙏

Pray for Xavier’s brain and body. Pray for his medical team. Pray for strength for his parents and family as they approach four months of waiting for their little boy to wake up.

And organizers are also asking people to pray for every family desperately waiting for healing, restoration and hope of their own.

Think about what has happened since May.

A 12-year-old boy was critically injured during baseball warmups in New Jersey.

Since then, teams have worn his No. 6. Bats have been left on porches. Vigils have been held. People across state lines who have never met Xavier have learned his name and prayed for him.

Tomorrow, many of those prayers become ONE.

Share this post so people everywhere can get involved.

Tag your family, friends, and churches, synagogues, you name it.

Let Xavier's family know right now what you'll be praying for.

CALIFORNIA EARNS THE CROWN: In what should become an instant baseball classic, La Mirada, California captured the 2026 Junior League World Series Championship with a 6-3, 10-inning victory over Chinese Taipei on Sunday, August 16.
Chinese Taipei was represented by the Shing-Ming Junior Little League.
The game’s big swing came from Jayden Valdez, who lined a three-run home run down the left field line in the top of the 10th inning, breaking a 3-3 deadlock. Jayden Lopez and Ryder Ong scored in front of Valdez. When Jerimiah Ortega set down Chinese Taipei 1-2-3 in the bottom of the inning, La Mirada had its first JLWS title since 2003.
The game, pitting the tournament’s only unbeaten teams (3-0 each), was nip and tuck all the way, featuring great pitching, excellent defense and enough power to score key runs.
California scored first when starting pitcher Adam Brewer hit a solo home run to left-center field in the fourth inning. But Chinese Taipei rallied for a run in the bottom of the inning when En-Yu Chen beat out a slow infield bouncer down the third base line with a head-first slide into first base.
The score remained 1-1 until the top of the sixth when Lucas Gaeta and Nathan Dowling reached base on singles. With two out, the next hitter, Ong, fouled a 3-2 pitch off his leg that stung him – but keep the inning alive. The reliable lead-off hitter then lined a single to center that gave California a 2-1 lead.
Brewer kept California in front by going six full innings, giving up just one run on three hits and three walks. When he left the game due to the pitch count rule, leading 2-1, Ortega (who just missed a home run in the top of the seventh) took the mound in the bottom half of the inning – and immediately got into trouble.
Tian-En Ma beat out an infield single and Yung-Tai Hsu walked. Yi-Le Sung attempted to bunt the runners into scoring position but ended up with an infield single when Ortega slipped fielding the ball … bases loaded, no outs.
Ortega got Chia-Jui Yu to pop out, but a passed ball against the next hitter scored Ma with the tying run, 2-2.
Chinese Taipei had a chance to win the game in the bottom of the eighth inning. But a missed su***de squeeze bunt resulted in a rundown between home and third base and shut down the rally.
California scored in the top of the ninth on a sacrifice fly by Dowlin, but again Chinese Taipei retied the game in the bottom of the inning on another passed ball, pushing a 3-3 game into the 10th inning.
Which is exactly where Valdez wanted it and he didn’t miss his pitch.
The win went to Ortega, who pitched four innings and gave up two runs.

You see this correctly, despite a tough loss for our Majors All-Stars team last night, they have one more chance in the double elimination bracket to win the Section 5 championship!

We need all of our VPLL community to come out and pack the stands and cheer on our boys! Go VPLL!!
