GRWM in London while I catch you up on life lately 🇬🇧✨
Because somehow the last few months have felt like I’ve lived 5 different lives at once — opening a new salon, navigating business growing pains, traveling, trying to stay consistent, learning a lot about myself… and figuring out how to actually enjoy the life I’m working so hard to build.
A little makeup, a little London, and a very overdue life update 🤍

We moved TWO businesses in one night… and had clients the next morning. 📦🫠
Would I recommend this strategy? Absolutely not.
Did we somehow pull it off? YES. 🤸🏻♀️
From packing the U-Haul with my family, picking up Carolina + her entire salon, to McDonald’s on the floor, dancing through the exhaustion and unpacking until 3AM… this was officially the night 828 Collective came to life. 🥹🤍
And seeing us both with clients in our chairs the very next morning made it all worth it.
You guys have watched this journey through the renovations, delays, chaos and everything in between, so it feels REALLY good to finally bring you into this part. 🫶🏼

A pretty photo doesn’t mean everything behind it is perfect. 🤍
Social media makes it easy to see the photoshoots, the wins, the finished work + the beautiful moments and assume someone has it all figured out.
But you don’t always see the pivots, the doubt, the slow seasons, the lessons, or the moments spent figuring out what comes next.
After 10+ years in business, I’m still figuring things out too.
I’ve learned you can be grateful for what you’ve built while still wanting more. You can be confident and still have doubts. You can outgrow something you once prayed for.
You can be a work in progress and still be proud of where you are.

🤸🏻♀️pilates has been my workout of choice lately while I navigate some physical therapy (no gym for now, and honestly? I’m not mad about it). the efficiency of a pilates class never gets old.
💐swapped cut flowers for plants that actually grow with me 🌿 found a new matcha cafe with the most amazing flavors — that obsession isn’t going anywhere. 🍵
bible study is back with my girls and it’s been grounding me in the best way ✝️
🧩 somehow pulled me into cross stitching… it keeps my hands busy, my screen time down, and my nervous system calm. highly recommend.
🥚sprinkled in some farm fresh eggs, good food, good friends, and yes — a little computer time too. BIG THINGS are coming (Elise Eesthetics Institute classes launch next week 👀)
