Cleansing your skin is the MOST important step in your routine.

From which cleanser you choose to how long you use it. So here are some tips to make sure you are choosing a good cleanser for your skin type.

If your skin is dry/mature choose a creamy hydrating cleanser.

If you are oily/acne prone choose a gel cleanser.

Also, you should be using an oil cleanser at night as your first cleanse. The oil cleansers I love to recommend are Purify from Green Envee and Living Libations Best Skin Ever Seabuckthorn as it is good for all skin types.

Making sure you are choosing the right cleanser will set you up for success with your routine. If you’re using the wrong type of cleanser for your skin, not only can it strip your skin but it can cause the products you use after to cause negative affects to your skin and potentially end up with damaging your skin barrier.

So find the right cleanser for you and use it consistently and see how your skin changes.
