We love a good body butter… I get it.
Just not before your session.
Coming in without lotion helps me get the grip I need to actually work with the tissue the way it’s meant to be worked.
Ever been curious for a behinds the scenes peek?
This is what happens between each client after you leave.
I clean the table and surfaces - germs have no home here!
I change the sheets - clean sheets for each client. Of course!
I write my notes on the session - documentation is important. This is part of how we know you're making progress!
I prepare for the next session - I review previous documentation for each client before they come in to refresh in my mind what we worked on last time and what areas may still need to be addressed.
Believe me, those 30 minutes between sessions go by quicker than you'd think!

Recent 5-star review from Catherine:
"I've always been curious about myofascial massage and finally tried it out as a treat for me and my husband.
I could tell right away that this was something I needed so I purchased a few treatment packages to continue treatment on my own.
There has always been a state of tension in my body. These sessions have helped me connect more with my body and I've noticed the tension subsiding.
Another area I've always struggled with is my right hip. My SI joint has always caused me discomfort and I can say that it is very much improved as well. We rarely focus on it in treatment anymore.
The main issue that has been the consistent focus during my sessions is my left shoulder. I injured it in January and eventually had to have labrum repair surgery in July. Treatments leading up to my surgery helped to get my body to a healthy state in preparation for surgery. And I can say without a doubt the treatments after surgery are the main reason for my speedy recovery. Most of the pain and discomfort were gone within two weeks of surgery. In only two months I had almost complete range of motion back.
As discomforts of starting strength training arise, she's helped me work through them so I can continue progressing with my physical therapy.
Kelly has helped me immensely and I would definitely recommend her as your myofascial massage therapist!!"

There is more beyond the discomfort.
With patience and care, your body can find its way back to ease.
Sometimes your body doesn’t need more pressure.
It needs the right kind of movement.

Living with pain starts to feel normal after a while.
You adjust.
You work around it.
You stop expecting it to change.
But your body isn’t meant to stay stuck like that.
There’s a different way to work with it, one that gives it the time and space to actually start letting go. 👀 👀

There’s something powerful about slowing down long enough to simply breathe.
Myofascial Release invites you into that same space, where stillness meets awareness, and healing begins to unfold from the inside out.
Your body already knows the way forward; sometimes, it just needs a little help finding ease again. 💙
Nothing in this life is more flexible and yielding than water.
Yet when it attacks the firm and strong, none can withstand it, because they have no way to change it.
So the flexible overcome the adamant, the yielding overcome the forceful. - Lao Tzu
I love this quote! A reminder that water is a force to be reckoned with.
Our bodies are mostly water and should move fluidly and with ease. MFR helps to bring back that fluid nature.

Tension isn’t a problem to solve, it’s information.
A signal from the body about where it’s been bracing, protecting, holding on.
Myofascial Release invites the tissues to soften, the breath to slow, and the nervous system to feel supported again.
Change doesn’t come from force.
It comes from space.
And from listening to what your body has been asking for all along.
