A year into having and doing weft extensions and I’ve learned a lot.

I dread my own wash day but love how my hair looks when everything is clean and bouncy.
Sometimes I miss doing my dutch braids between wash days.
Sometimes they bug me if I wear my hair weird or snag it with my nails.
And currently my biggest thing, I’m hot. I have a lot of hair naturally and attached to my head and summer isn’t even technically here yet.
So when you dread wash day, miss your claw clips and French braids or snag a weft, I get it. It’s one of the reasons I like trying certain things on myself so I can understand the day to day with it. We’re in this together.

But I feel magical with them and love that when I’m ready for the inevitable color change, we all know I can’t resist, I can swap my extensions out and change my color without damaging my hair further. For someone who wants long hair but has a long history is abusing my hair, I love that I can add the length easily without waiting for it to grow on its own.

I love when my clients give me some freedom. We knew we wanted green, raccoon tails and to bring back the v bang but we had room to pivot where we needed/wanted. This is so incredibly fun and gave me so much happiness once we started styling.
