Okay… I’m going to get a little vulnerable for a minute, and I promise I won’t make it weird. 😂

In almost 8 years of being a tattoo artist and owning my business, I have been through A LOT. I’ve pretty much seen it all. Covid. Slow seasons. Economy being weird. People collectively deciding they suddenly have better things to spend money on 😂.deciding that apparently groceries are more important than freshly powdered brows. The audacity. 😂

But I can honestly say that I have never seen my business this slow.

I know August is typically a slower month for everyone. Kids are going back to school, schedules are chaotic, summer is ending, and everyone is suddenly realizing they spent the entire summer saying, “We’ll figure it out later.”
Well… apparently later is August. 😂
But this particular summer has been really difficult for me.

Next week, I have only a couple of appointments on my books. And as someone who has spent the last 8 years building this business from the ground up, that’s honestly a hard thing to look at.

I’m not posting this because I want anyone to feel bad for me. That’s not really my style. And I certainly don’t want anyone booking something they don’t need or spending money they shouldn’t spend.
But if you have been putting something off, if you’re overdue for a touch-up, if your brows have started entering their “before” picture era… I would genuinely love to see you.

And right now, I’m willing to offer a little discount on touch ups and certain services. Nothing crazy, because I still have bills to pay and apparently electricity is one of those services that refuses to accept exposure as payment. 😂
