So when it feels too big—remember WHO your Father is.
You don’t need to be bigger than the battle.

We live in a mean-girl world sometimes.
People will misunderstand you.
They may talk about you, attack your character, or even say things that simply aren’t true.
And being a Christian doesn’t mean those things don’t hurt. We’re still human. Words hurt. Betrayal hurts. Being falsely represented hurts.
But knowing who I am in Christ has taught me something:
I don’t have to return darkness with darkness.
My job is still to serve like Jesus.
To speak truth with grace.
To forgive—even when it’s hard.
To love people well.
And to keep pointing everything back to Him.
Not every lie deserves my defense.
Not every attack deserves my response.
Sometimes the greatest response is simply continuing to live a life that reflects WHOSE you are.
Because when you know who you are in Christ, it becomes a little easier to choose light—even when someone else chooses to hurt you.
