Man does time fly! Can't believe it's been 6 years since The Mane Loft first opened! I may not have children yet but this right here is truly my baby.

Well hello there! I know I know, it's been a minute! So, my birthday was last week and boy was it one to remember and not necessarily in a good way. But thanks so much to those who took the time to wish me a happy birthday 🎂😊.

I spent half the day seeking medical attention because I sliced my finger open on a nail polish bottle of all things! (I know you're wondering how 🤔 smh). This was the first time I've ever needed stitches and it was not fun lol. That just seemed to add fuel to the fire and brought my enery and mood all the way down because this month started off on a completely wrong foot. This damn finger put a halt to my staycation bday plans because you can't get in water with fresh stitches 🙄 and I wanted to swim so bad. But I digress.

This birthday was holding a special meaning to me. A mark of rebirth. Walking into the woman I want to be. My 30's have been rocky and I felt like 33 was a personal fresh start. I almost forgot what was important when all the foolishness was going on, but I took a couple of days and gathered myself. I took all the energy I had left and pushed through as much as I could. I reflected on what I was thankful for and took a second to just be and breathe. Not at all fancy like I wanted but clearly it was what was needed to at the time. I'm going to celebrate how I really wanted too later and take this birthday for what it was. Simply a blessing to be alive😉.

Out Of The Office For My Birthday!
It’s my birthday on the 14th and I’m taking a little time off to relax, reflect, and regroup.
