Don’t see your insurance listed? Let us know! We’re happy to look into your plan and will do our best to become in-network when the insurance company allows it.

Have an out-of-network plan? We can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. We also offer payment plans to help make care as manageable and affordable as possible.

We believe families deserve access to quality, evidence-based lactation support without finances creating an unnecessary barrier. 🌸

We’re excited to share that Anthem BCBS is now in-network for telehealth visits!

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to expand insurance coverage so more families can access lactation care. Here’s who we currently work with:

• Aetna — all visit types
• UHC — all visit types*
• Cigna — all visit types
• Horizon BCBS OMNIA & Advantage EPO — all visit types
• Anthem BCBS — telehealth only*
• MultiPlan — all visit types
• AmeriHealth — all visit types

*A quick note for our Anthem families:Not every Anthem plan includes this benefit. About 70% of Anthem members have the virtual breastfeeding benefit, so we do need to verify eligibility before your appointment. Please give us *at least 24 hours before your visit* so we have time to check your coverage.

As always, being in-network doesn’t necessarily mean there won’t be a patient responsibility. Deductibles, copays, coinsurance, and coverage vary by individual plan.

Because feeding a baby doesn’t follow an awareness-week calendar. 😅 The questions, cluster feeds, pumping sessions, middle-of-the-night worries, latch struggles, wins, tears, and “wait… is this normal?” moments happen all year long.
World Breastfeeding Week is a great opportunity to talk about breastfeeding- but families deserve good, evidence-based, judgment-free support every single day.
So as comes to an end, here’s your reminder:

Today we celebrate freedom, resilience, and the strength of Black mothers.
Throughout history Black women have nurtured, protected and sustained families and communities. During slavery, many enslaved Black women were forced to serve as wet nurses, caring for and feeding the children of white women while often being separated from their own. Their strength and forced sacrifice helped generations survive, yet the trauma and indignity of being denied autonomy over their own bodies and motherhood are unfathomable.
While we celebrate the end of slavery, we also recognize that health inequities persist. Black women in the United States continue to experience maternal mortality rates more than three times higher than White women, and disparities in breastfeeding persist due to systemic barriers, unequal access to care, workplace challenges, and gaps in culturally responsive support.
This Juneteenth, we honor the generations of Black mothers who came before us and celebrate the Black mothers raising, feeding, loving, and leading families today.
