The haircut is doing half the styling for us. That's the goal.
Soft Korean-inspired layers paired with a lived-in highlight create movement, body, and that "my hair just does this" energy.

"You can't do that with your hair."
She came to me wanting a s**g with those short, choppy layers on top: the kind she'd been told she couldn't have because her hair was "too thick" and it would look bad.
Challenge accepted.
When you have a lot of hair, the answer usually isn't less shape. It's better shape. Strategic layering can remove weight, create movement, and let the haircut actually work with your density instead of fighting it.
Judging by the pile of hair on my floor... I'd say we made some room. 😂

Hers started with a peekaboo.
Now she's somewhere between deep ocean magic and "don't make deals with strangers at sea." 💙🩵💜
