The before photo is not my work—this dip application was done at a previous salon. During her last pedicure appointment, my client and I discussed transitioning away from dip powder to focus on improving the health of her natural nails.

While dip powder can provide strength and durability, repeated applications and improper removal can leave nails thin, brittle, dehydrated, and prone to peeling. Over time, the filing and soaking process required for dip can weaken the natural nail plate, making it harder to maintain healthy nail growth. Our goal is to restore the integrity of her natural nails while still keeping them beautiful and well-maintained throughout the journey.
