✨MUA LIFE HACK✨

I think I want to start sharing more of these on Fridays as I pack and organize my kit for weddings! There are so many little things I’ve learned along the way that help me so much!

This has been one of my favorite ways to save space in my kit for years! I cut multipacks of lashes into strips like this and sort them into a container. It helps with my speed because I can easily find exactly the style I need, and I’m able to travel with several different options!

If you’re a MUA, let me know some of your favorite lashes to use on clients! I’m always looking for new ones!

After my last post, I got a lot of requests to make a modified version for everyday/work, so here is a simple routine! This is a full face that can be done in 10-15 min!

Here are some general tips + advice to speed up your makeup time! 🕰️

•Skip primer and just opt for a really good moisturizer instead! I’m a firm believer in skin prep > primer. As long as you have something on your skin as a base prior to foundation, it’s going to help with longevity!

•Some days, I skip foundation all together and just use concealer where I need it. Other days, I use a tinted moisturizer instead of foundation. It all comes down to what you need for your skin/what you prefer.

•Use a bronzer in your crease as eyeshadow (if you want to wear eyeshadow) It will make everything look very cohesive and save you from having to grab an additional product!

•Make sure you apply all of your cream products BEFORE powder products. For example, if you are using cream contour + blush, you should apply them before setting powder. If you are using powder contour + blush, you should apply them after setting powder. I typically just use one or the other for an everyday routine!

•Use a cream blush as a lip tint! I absolutely love doing this! It ensures that your lip color always matches your blush perfectly, and it’s so quick! Just dab a little in with your finger, maybe apply some gloss over top, and go!

*I also had several people commenting on my last post saying, “You forgot spf, toner, serum, etc.” I do a full skincare routine before applying makeup that includes those things! If you would like a separate post going into detail about that, let me know!*

Let me know any makeup questions you have in the comments!
Hope this helps you! 🤎

DRUGSTORE MAKEUP I WOULD PAY HIGH END PRICES FOR 💰

Firm believer that not all amazing products come with a huge price tag! Here are a few I’m obsessed with right now! 😍 Let me know some of yours and if I should do a part 2!

My application order for face makeup!

I get asked about this all the time. There are, of course, different ways people may prefer to do this, but this is my current base routine for my clients!

My own everyday routine is a lot more simple, and I definitely don’t do every step, everyday. This is for full glam looks! So feel free to edit this to your lifestyle and only use what you need!

Rule of thumb for any application is: All cream products should generally be applied before powder products. I like to work in light layers with creams + powders especially on brides and when I need long lasting results!

One thing I’ll always pride myself on as a makeup artist is that I’ll probably never do the exact same look twice.

Of course, I want you to bring me inspiration photos, but I always want to make slight adjustments to customize it to YOUR face. It’s really important to me to constantly be learning different features, skin tones, face shapes, etc. Even when you’re a bridesmaid, I never want you to feel like I just threw something on your face really quick to get you in and out of the chair. No cookie cutter looks around here everrr!
