Meet Hometown Hero Amanda Eaddy Oliver:

Amanda Eaddy Oliver, a champion for teen girl developmental advocacy, is determined to make a positive impact on the next generation of young women in Central Virginia, Amanda created the non-profit organization, Brand New. Brand New strives to provide a safe space for girls to be vulnerable, to learn, and to be empowered. She has impacted over 100 girls lives through her monthly “Snack and Chats” and the her annual “Books Before Boys Pajama Jam”. These events are celebrated as the “ultimate girl power event” by attendees.

In 2016, Amanda kick started a program under Brand New called F.A.B.- Females Against Bullying. During the 2016-2017 school year, she met with sixth and seventh grade girls to encourage and equip them with the skills to be courageous leaders preventing bullying in the hallways of Moore Middle School in Prince George, VA. Amanda has since brought the F.A.B. program to St. Andrew's School where she works with fifth grade girls.
