My mentor Makeup Moxie always told me to keep working and make sure that you make an impact with everyone that sits in your chair because they will speak of your name in rooms that you are not even aware of.
When TODD ANTHONY reached out because people were recommending me to transition his look, my heart smiled and cried at the same time. This was my first experience in theatre behind the curtain. I remember watching Lion King on Broadway and always wished to be the hands that brought those characters to life. Meeting all of the hands that made RED Stage Play come to life was an experience that I will forever cherish. If you have not seen this production YOU ARE MISSING OUT! Not only did he embody Malcolm historically, but he also gave a monologue towards the end that spoke life to US in this very moment. I pray that you continue blessing the world with your craft and message.

Stop treating film sets like a salon chair. 🛑
The biggest mistake? Thinking the same rules apply. If you want to build a career in production, you have to master the art of realism, deliver under pressure, and nail the networking game. Here are a few shifts that I made that you may need to make the same transition.
