Why am I like this?! 😩
Yesterday’s run felt amazing, but my tendon is definitely letting me know it was a little too much. It’s so hard when everything feels great in the moment and that little voice saying, “This is probably not a good idea,” gets drowned out by the excitement of being out there.
I knew better. I just didn’t listen.
Today I’m paying the price and feeling pretty bummed, mostly because I’m hoping I didn’t set myself back too much. Injuries are such a lesson in patience, and patience has never been my strongest skill.
For now, I’m trying to remember that one bad decision doesn’t erase all the progress I’ve made. Hopefully a little extra rest now means I’ll be back out there sooner rather than later. 🤞
Anyone self do things like this? 🤦🏼♀️

Such a beautiful morning and an even better run ☀️🏃♀️ I loved getting to run with , the miles absolutely flew by! We even got to share a few miles with .arl and , which made it even more fun.
My tendon is still sore, but I’m making slow progress, and I’m so grateful for every mile and every run along the way.
Now it’s time to enjoy our first Friday of summer break! ☀️ What are your weekend plans? Are your kids officially out of school
Tomorrow, May 28th, is Menstrual Hygiene Day ❤️
I’ve partnered with Days for Girls International to help raise money for an incredible cause. Millions of girls and women around the world still don’t have access to basic menstrual products or education, and Days for Girls is working to change that by providing menstrual hygiene kits, health education, and support to communities worldwide.
Every donation matters, even just $1 can help make a difference. Thank you for supporting something that impacts dignity, health, education, and opportunity for so many women and girls. 🌎✨

The most beautiful sunrise run with was exactly what my soul needed. ☀️🏃♀️
Running still doesn’t look the way I want it to while I’m recovering from a tendon tear, but it’s made me even more grateful for every mile I’m able to run. These early mornings, the quiet conversations, the fresh air, and the sunrise reminding me to slow down and breathe, are everything.
This week has been especially busy, and this beautiful run brought so much peace to the chaos.
Wishing everyone a happy Memorial Day weekend. ❤️ What are your plans? FindYourPeace
Who can relate? I want to be easygoing, I really do… but it’s hard when my brain has a little checklist it insists on first. Run done, coffee had, life in order, then I can finally relax 😄
Let’s be real… getting out the door is hard for everyone. But if you’re someone with a packed schedule, tired legs, and a million reasons NOT to go, and you went anyway? Drop a 🙌 below because YOU are exactly who I coach for. Whether you’re a parent, a caregiver, a full-time worker, or just someone trying to hold it all together, that’s the energy we celebrate here. Florida running has me like 😍🥵
The heat and humidity hit different when you’ve been away from them for a while. But honestly? I’m just grateful for every single mile right now.
Back in December when I got the news about this tendon tear. My goal from that moment was simple: be able to run by the time this vacation came around.
No gym at Disney’s All Star Resorts? No problem. Just me, the path, and whatever miles I can get. I never skip running on vacation if I can help it, and today reminded me why.
Hot. Humid. Beautiful. I’ll take it. 🌴🏃

The most selfish thing a mom can do? Disappear into motherhood.
Here’s the math nobody runs:
Two marathons a year, including travel = 6 days. That’s 1.6% of the year. And we still call her selfish.
Nobody asks the dad who runs Boston if his kids are okay.
So why do we ask her?
In this week’s episode, I make the case that prioritizing one or two races a year isn’t a tradeoff with good parenting. It might be part of it. Your daughter is watching how you talk about your body. Your son is learning what to expect of the women he’ll share his life with. The research backs a lot of this up. The rest is just fairness.
Two weekends a year is not selfish. It’s a rounding error on a life of showing up.

Got my long effort day in today before we fly to Florida tomorrow for my daughter’s last cheer competition! 🏆✈️ After last week’s 12 miles left my tendon pretty angry, I took a few days off and I’m keeping things shorter for now. Frustrating? Yes. But I’m choosing gratitude over grumbling. 🙏 1 hour of running (1 mile warm-up + first 1k of every mile at harder effort), 45 min on the elliptical, then lower body weights. I’m tired! 😅 Here for all of it though.
