I will always say Bubba & RC were fast but in my opinion know one has ever been better than Ryan Villopoto! From the 250 master class he would put on to the straight dominance against anyone in the 450s, in my record book he is the fastest man to ever race 2 wheels!!

Chase has said he is not riding kawasaki in 2027. I could be wrong but I believe I read that last night somewhere. I also heard from that same source that hes going to Monster Energy Yamaha, because another rumor is Deegan is leaving after 2027 to form his own team with MJ and CR22. So yamaha is wanting a long term 450 veteran to help develop all their 250 talent.

Jason Weigandt floated an interesting idea on PulpMX: once Cooper Webb steps away from outdoor racing, he could be the perfect fit to manage Team USA at the Motocross of Nations.

The reasoning? He’s respected across the paddock, understands the pressure of racing for his country, has the experience, and wouldn’t be competing against the riders he’s helping lead.

Webb has repeatedly answered the call for Team USA, but an MXoN victory has remained out of reach.

Maybe his next chapter isn’t about winning the race himself. Maybe it’s about helping the next generation bring the Chamberlain Trophy home. 👊🏆

🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TRAVIS PASTRANA!

Legendary action-sports icon Travis Pastrana turns 43 today — but instead of celebrating on the rally stage, TP is recovering in the hospital after an infection in his leg required surgery.

Pastrana says doctors had to clean out the infection and remove the hardware from his leg. He’ll undergo another surgery once the infection is identified and treated.

🗣️ “Had to bring 43 in with a bang. Got an infection in my leg.
Sergery yesterday to clean out the leg and take the hardware out. Docs got bone and tissue to see what bacteria / infection we are working with.. as soon as that comes back they will start me on specific antibiotics. Then go into surgery again to get all the rods, plates and screws back in Sorry I'm not at the rally!”

Get well soon, TP. The rally world can wait — 43 has plenty more chapters to write. 💪🏁

TRAVIS PASTRANA UPDATE!
Travis is officially OUT of the Lake Superior Performance Rally after a leg infection became serious enough to put him in the hospital.

He stopped to get antibiotics on the way to the airport, but doctors realized it needed more attention.

Forget racing right now.

Getting Travis healthy is what matters. ❤️‍🩹

I can tell you from being around him last week, he’s as genuine as they come.
