Earlier today my mom sent this pic of her and my grandmother since it is my grandmother’s heavenly birthday. I never met my grandmother because she passed shortly after this from cancer. She didn’t share her health struggles with my mom and so my mom had no clue this would be one of their last photos. My mom also doesn’t share much of the struggles she’s had dealing with her mother’s death at such a young age. But today she shared that she is happy she went to her graduation because she wasn’t going to go. She thought she had more time.

Often times we think we have more time and we simply don’t. This is why staying present is important. Tell those you care about that you care about them. Love on them and allow them to love on you. Take the trips and enjoy the adventures - experience life to the fullest and don’t forget to capture the moments. ❤️❤️❤️

Happy Friday Folks! Man, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted and I feel so disconnected from everyone and thing 😩. But I must also confess that I’ve secretly been my happiest 🫣, most productive self 🤗.

Disconnecting to reconnect with self is so necessary.

SN RIP Frankie Beverly. I never got online to pay my respects. This is one of my favorite songs from him and my mom mentioned it in our family group chat because today would’ve been my grandmother’s 108th bday. I never met her, but I pray I’m making her happy and proud ❤️.
