The truth is: acne and texture don’t automatically mean makeup will look cakey. What matters is technique. As makeup artists, our focus isn’t applying more product- it’s applying products strategically.

That means:
✨ skin prep that balances hydration without excess oil
✨ thin, buildable layers instead of heavy coverage all at once
✨ intentional placement of concealer and powder only where needed
✨ using pressing and rolling techniques rather than dragging product across textured areas
✨ choosing formulas that mimic skin instead of masking it

No makeup can stay 100% untouched in every environment.
