Allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is Jerri Roshann. I’m 51 years old and have spent over three decades in the beauty industry. I began my career at age
19, earning my cosmetology license from Laney College in Oakland, California. Sixteen years ago, my
passion shifted toward skincare and lash extensions, leading me back to esthetics school at Marinello
in San Francisco.
My journey continued in Kansas City, Missouri, where I completed an additional 400 esthetics hours
and went on to own and operate a hair salon and spa for five years. Eventually, life brought me back
west to Arizona, where I obtained my Arizona license. After a brief return to San Francisco, the COVID
pandemic led me back to the Phoenix area, where I earned my instructor’s license. I am licensed in
California, Missouri, Kansas, and Arizona.
I am also a salon suite owner in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona. I’ve had the privilege of teaching and
working with respected schools including Avalon and Aveda. Teaching has always been my true
passion, and my ultimate life’s goal is to create an advanced esthetics education program focused on
melanated skin and chemical peels. I’m proud to see this passion continue through my daughter, who is a licensed Aesthetician.
