Blondies, if you have fine hair and struggle with feeling not blonde enough, or your hair is too fragile to go as light as you’d been hoping... try a row of extensions!
Added thickness, H U G E color pay off, hair appears lighter without drying out your natural hair, and your style holds for days, so you avoid access heat!
No brainer right? We took this beautiful mama-to-be lighter and longer. So angelic!

“It is not happiness that makes us grateful, but gratefulness that makes us happy” - Grateful Dead
Rocker tees and long loose waves will always be a fav look of mine. 🤘🏻 This babe is wearing 1 row of extensions & we finished her blonde off with a subtle rosey, champagne hue.
Tuesday morning reminder to put gratefulness before happiness, and be kind to one another! ☺️🤍

Regimen: a prescribed course of treatment, way of life, or diet for the promotion or restoration of health.
The food you put into your body, the products you put on your skin, and what you wash your hair with are all in the same.
These routines are so important to keep your body, skin, and hair at its optimum health. They go hand in hand, what you put into your body definitely affects your hair and skin!
Girls, we know there’s times you splurge on high quality skincare & makeup... Put the work into your hair too!
I’m here to help you get on a haircare regimen custom to you!
Need more moisture? Need something to exfoliate your scalp? Need to deep cleanse those minerals and hard water off your hair? Need that SMALL dose of protein to restore your hair? Need to kick those products that are causing your hair to be limp, lifeless and dull even though they smell good? 😏
Always purchase your high quality products from a salon! Stop 🛑 purchasing expired ones from target & Tj maxx. That conversation is for another day 😅
Something to think about! Healthy hair AND scalp is happy hair! Happy Monday friends. *my favorite brands are linked in the photo*

Do you have dark + mostly solid natural hair? Just want to be “lighter”?
When the hair hasn’t previously been treated with permanent color, and is ‘virgin’ we can make magic happen! ✨ When pushing through any previous pigment, that’s another battle.
Giving the illusion that your hair is all over lighter, while still maintaining a soft outgrowth is key! We used different variations of highlights and babylights, teasy lights, and tipped out her ends to achieve this look. Followed by a color melt (magic @ the bowl).
Lots of funky words that don’t make sense? Just show your stylist a photo, and always tell them what you are seeing in that photo. Level, dimension, and tone.
Keeping the overall look soft is NOT going lighter than your hair can take & leaving the hair too bright, raw, or unfinished after lifting.
Team blended + soft, always! 🙋🏻‍♀️ @ Agave & Ash Salon

When you haven’t seen your client in 5 months, but she still got asked “did you just get your hair done?” ... you know the goal of a “good grow out” was achieved!
Despite quarantine getting in the way, her hair still looked decent throughout! 🙌🏻
Foiled this babe up to the max, left depth + dimension, melted her base down, and kept her blonde R A W !
Although she could go another 5 months, she will be back for a refresher in 2.5! ✨
Healthy, happy, hair...always !

Filler rows • Do you have sides that never grow? Are you constantly flat ironing them to blend into your hair, causing more damage? 🤔 (I know you’re still out there!)
I used to be the girl that ran the flat iron over my front pieces like it was my job. This is your friendly reminder to put it away in the back of your cabinet, it’s for your own good! 🙃
I love filler rows, or one row of extensions for this problem. It allows you to completely fill in those sides, while adding thickness to your existing length. What could be better?!
Allowing your hair to HEAL, while you experience the best hair of your life is what i want to help you achieve!

Color corrections come in all shapes and sizes, and I love a challenge!!
I hadn’t seen this babe since March 2019, missed her so! We went in with the goal of evening out her overall canvas, while starting the process of going lighter.
Covering her base + canceling out brass in mids + all the foils to lighten and break everything up! We focused her blonde mainly from her crown forward so we could ‘see’ the difference this time, and our next appointment will be focused on her nape area.
Having a set game plan with your stylist can make or break your end goal! Always keep that in mind and make sure communication is solid both ways.
Loving her new look!!! 🙌🏻☀️ @ Agave & Ash Salon

Matching density when you’re installing extensions is crucial. Stephanie wore 2 rows of 18” for about a year until we were able to upgrade her to 22”s.
Why? Because her hair grew out long enough for the blend, and her density can handle it!
Hand tied extensions are amazing on fine hair and on thicker, coarser hair... you just have to make sure you find someone who knows how to match your natural density well.
We used hair in shades 6 & Milan. Custom colored always for that perfect match!

Baby fine hair that lifts to that perfect shade of bright blonde 🙌🏻
Hair looks so different in different lighting scenarios. If you want that bright, Barbie doll hair... keep it warm. And in some cases, keep it raw ; without a toner or gloss.
My favorite tool for when I’m leaving the hair “raw” is Blonda toning mask. It’s like a purple shampoo in the way that it tones hair, but due to it being a mask, it also softens and replenishes moisture.
If you are a purple shampoo user, I HIGHLY suggest adding this mask to your at-home routine as well.

Dimensional blonding 👱🏻‍♀️
We have been foiling this babe up to the max her last several sessions. Beautiful... but she needed some depth and a look that was lower maintenance, as she’s currently brewing a little bambino.
Her last 3 appointments consisted of mostly lowlighting, smudging her base down, and very minimal highlighting. This created natural depth where we wanted it, and kept her bright where we needed it (around her face, through the sides, and underneath for when she wears her hair up)!
Here’s your reminder to embrace change in your hair. Blondes don’t have to feel ‘the same’ all the time !
Happy Saturday!!
