• Placement •
It’s so funny how over time as a stylist you start truly envisioning the outcome with every piece of hair you work on.

Placement is a funny thing - I feel like so many stylists start out in the industry knowing a few different placements and we *think* one placement is best & stick to it…. But over time we evolve and realize no ONE placement will ever look the same on any head - so, then you learn to visualize the hair as a whole.

What areas of your head need brightness? What areas need depth? That’s what I base my placement off - and guess what? It’s never, ever the same - but the outcome is a dream ❤️

I love having A day to relax, refresh, and get inspired before the week ahead!! Today’s agenda:

Play with my toddler
Wash my hair (I only wash 2-3x per week, and on Sunday’s I make sure to take a little bit of extra time. I love using a scalp scrub to exfoliate my head and then add a deep conditioner to my routine on sundays as well!)
Wash bedding
Schedule out the tasks I need to complete this week!

Depth in the center does NOT mean just leaving a dark hole of hair that never gets lightened - but it DOES mean that I typically will balayage or hand paint this area so that the ends all blend seamlessly & the root has a little bit more depth in this area so the blonde really shines!
