Hot Headz is officially pending sale.

Even though selling the salon was always part of my long-term plan, it wasn't an easy decision.

The truth is, I worried about who the buyer would be. Not because of the money, but because of what this place means.

For years, this salon wasn't just a business. It helped me support my family, raise my children, create opportunities, build lifelong friendships, and serve my community. I wanted to know that whoever took over would value those things too.

So I prayed for the right buyer.

And I truly believe I found her.

She's a fellow Latina, incredibly talented, kind, hardworking, and passionate about this industry. While she'll be rebranding and making the space her own, I feel at peace knowing it's being passed to someone who understands what it means to build something for yourself and your family.

I'd like to think she was praying for the right seller just as much as I was praying for the right buyer.

As for me...

About 15 years ago, I made a promise to myself.

I would chase my hair dreams first. Then somewhere between 35 and 40 years old, I would return to real estate and continue a path I started years ago.

Today I'm 38.

And right on time.

In my career, I've been blessed to experience things I once only dreamed about. I've worked as a celebrity stylist, movie hairstylist, fashion hair show stylist, platform artist, and an internationally published stylist. I've worked alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, opened my own salon, and had the privilege of giving back through free services to people who simply needed a little help.

I can honestly say I lived that dream.

Now it's time for the next one.

I've been a real estate agent for less than a year, and I absolutely love it. I love the competition, the negotiations, the strategy, the fast pace, and most importantly, helping people through some of the biggest decisions of their lives.

For those wondering, I won't be disappearing completely.

There are clients I've built special relationships with over the years, and I wasn't ready to say goodbye to all of them. If you're reading this and you're one of those people, you already know who you are.

In about a month, I'll be working from a small beauty suite behind my home with my friend Gin, who specializes in lashes and facials. I'll be available only three Saturdays per month.

My services will be limited to:
✂️ Cut, Color & Style Packages
✨ Brazilian Blowouts

That's it.

No full-time salon.
No booth rentals.
No managing a storefront.

Just a few Saturdays each month with the clients and families I've grown to love.

Other than that...

I'm done.

Not because I failed.

Not because I stopped loving hair.

But because it's time for growth.

It's time for a new challenge.

It's time to follow where my spirit is leading me.
