Your hair products might not be failing you.
Phoenix water might be.
Hard water in Arizona is loaded with minerals like calcium and magnesium. Every time you wash your hair those minerals stick to the hair shaft instead of rinsing away.
Over time that buildup creates a coating on the hair that:
• blocks conditioner from penetrating
• prevents moisture from absorbing
• makes color fade faster
• leaves hair feeling dry and rough
