Let’s talk about Beauty Teams for a min!! I never set out or had the goal of building a team persay. Did I want to build a business? YES! But the team was really all Yahuahs work! I learned very early in my career that integrity, honesty & true customer service was highly lacking in my industry and that was not only mind blowing but completely unacceptable to me! Many peers would cancel a booking in order to take on larger party bookings, or cancel a booking to take the more appealing or higher paying ones 😱 when I would get an inquiry for a date I had already booked, I would refer them to a list of other quality artist that I felt I could vouch for. Many of these would come back to me and say “I’ve reached out to all of your recommendations but no one has gotten back to me, do you have any more”? So I would reach out to these peers myself and say girl I’m trying to send you work!! But again the business management and customer service skills were lacking so I would just book them myself and hire more artist, cuz someone needed to take care of you babes!!! So then we grew to 4 artist, then 6-8 artists and a few backups, then a full time admin / operations mgr to ensure a quick and thorough response!! Then a dozen artist and fast forward to today, we are a team of over 20 artists! A family! A true team w a company culture to always go above and beyond and selflessly, generously serve our community of woman, and men, in the best ways we can!! We train, we team build, we learn and grow and prioritize my core statement of “absolutely, no worries” because this is how we truly serve you all on the biggest most important days of your lives!!
