I have been in business for 9 years. & the longer I am here the more I realize ownership is so much more than what people see from the outside.

The growth looks exciting. The team gets bigger. You open another location. Revenue grows. You get opportunities you once prayed for.

But there’s another side to it.

The second guessing. The responsibility of having people depend on you. Learning to make decisions without needing everyone to like them. Showing up when your personal life is heavy. Realizing you can’t want someone’s growth more than they do. Reinvesting money back into the business when people assume growth means you’re taking more home.

I’ve never really felt “ready” for any of it. I’ve just been forced to face my fears and keep pushing through each new level.

And with every push to the next level, I’ve been required to become a different version of myself.

In every level I’m still learning. Still getting things wrong. Still building the structure. Still figuring out how to lead better.

The difference now is that I have more proof that no matter what comes next, I’ll figure it out.

And growing that undeniable belief in something you’ve built from the ground up... that’s what makes entrepreneurship so beautiful.
