Here’s how I smoothed out the chunks in this haircut. ❤️

This is the part I love… breaking things down until it actually makes sense!

Not just talking about it… but seeing it. 👀💡🎉

If you’ve ever felt like you’re guessing while cutting, you’re not alone.

I hope I get the opportunity to meet you at one of my See Theory classes and geek out on haircutting with you! ❤️

Here’s how I did the front of the last post. ✂️

I got a guide from the back and made all the hair in the front travel towards the guide. ❤️

Hope you find this helpful!! 😊

Even if I feel so grateful that I had the opportunity to meet every single person in this photo, I really wish I got more time to spend and get to know each person more.

It’s just so great getting to cross paths (even virtually) with people with similar hearts. I really admire their heart for continually growing in the craft that we all love… and most of all, I admire their heart for wanting to use it to serve others. ❤️❤️❤️

You can bevel more or bevel less by cutting more or cutting less of the corner.

You can also adjust the amount of hair you’re beveling by dropping more or dropping less of the perimeter.

Currently working on the 6th module of the Practice Studio subscription. Here’s a peek at it. I hope you find it helpful! ❤️

Easter Sunday with my family 💕

Here’s how I did the back of my last post.

It shows how connected to back to the front and also how I was able to control how thick I wanted the perimeter to be.

This is the 5th module in my Practice Studio subscription. ✂️

In this module, you’ll get so much more than the complete steps of the haircut.

You’ll get:
• more 2D animation as a visual aid
• written explanation to support understanding
• head diagrams as an alternative perspective
• a deeper dive into my combing direction
• a deeper dive into dropping the bottom
• a quiz to help you process what you learned

You can get more info through the link on my bio. I hope you find this 5th module helpful! ❤️✂️

Still thinking about this class at in New Smyrna Beach, FL. 💕

I’m so grateful that I got the opportunity to meet with every single person in this photo. It was such a pleasure learning, exploring, and geeking-out on haircutting with them.

They were just such a warm group. It wasn’t their amazing talent …but also their humility, openness, and genuine eagerness to grow. It’s always so special to get to be around people like them.

Thank you to everyone who showed up. And thank you, Gina, for inviting me to your beautiful salon, for trusting me with your team’s education, for going above and beyond with hospitality, and for so generously opening the class to stylists from other salons. ❤️❤️❤️

To create a fringe that blends into layers, I made the layers in the front short enough to be a fringe and connected it to longer layers towards the sides of the head.

I left the haircut raw so you can see as is. I just blow dried it straight down and did some a bit cleaning up on the ends. I didn’t point cut or do any major changes to the fringe or face framing.

It’s a great foundation that you can customize into different haircuts and style into different looks. ❤️

This will be part of the 5th module in the Practice Studio subscription which will be done and uploaded in a few days. So excited to share it with you. ❤️❤️❤️
