Celebrating 20 wonderful years in aesthetics fills my heart with gratitude as I reflect on my "brave" choice to leave Corporate America and pursue my passion as an Aesthetician. In those early days, the field was just beginning to take shape, and many were still discovering what an Aesthetician truly does. It was a challenging decision to walk away from a secure job after 17 years, complete with six weeks of vacation and excellent benefits, to return to school. Yet, deep down, I knew it was the right path for me. I poured my heart and soul into my studies, and despite being the oldest in my class, my enthusiasm and dedication to this new journey ignited my passion. My efforts were rewarded with a three-week internship (no pay-brave/nuts 😉 at a Plastic Surgeon’s office, which wonderfully transformed into a job offer on my last day. I spent seven fulfilling years there before taking the leap to start my own business. Running my storefront for ten years was truly a dream come true. (thank you for following me 😉) Along this journey, I also found love and married my soulmate, and together we ventured into the world of Vanished Laser Tattoo, opening two studios together where you have followed me again!
