We cannot control everything that happens in life, but we can learn to control how we respond.

First time in Kamakura, Japan.

10/8/2026 It is 12am and jet lag has me wide awake, so I’m wandering the hotel halls—fingers crossed no one thinks I’m up to no good! I head back to the U.S. today after a short 2 nights, 3-days trip. Japan’s food has been amazing and the people are so kind. I can’t wait to return! 🙂 🙂 🙂

10/7/2027 I had a wonderful time visiting my mother for the day in Okinawa, Japan. As a child, I couldn’t wait to leave this beautiful island; looking back now, I finally understand its enduring charm. It is a genuine treasure to the people who call it home.🙂 🙂 🙂
