At that time I was hired by Hector Gutierrez Signature Salon (now Signature Salon Group). I began a 9 month long assisting program with Hector & Stacia, continuing my education with weekly classes under Hectors instruction. Hector is excellent at his craft. e been working as a stylist for over 10 years. Taking continuing education courses, and refining my skills. I now have my managing cosmetology license, and strive to better myself with each service. I look forward to the future and everything it will bring! I absolutely love being a stylist, I first fell in love when I was 5 years old. My mother had purchased a book of how to do basic hairstyles for me. In that first day I taught myself several different braids. I fell in love with the idea of making yourself feel better, simply by altering your hair. Since that time I have fallen in love with how the process of getting your hair done, boost confidence, and allows us to have self expression. We can change the way we look in a relatively short amount of time, and something as simple as a good trim can brighten your day! I enjoy hearing about each of my clients lives, aspirations, and even fears. I feel privileged they trust me with the hair they live and work in. I do not take that trust lightly, I try to give each client the time and consideration that I would want from a stylist. I love cemetery, and flow throughout the hair. Attention to detail and taking each person, and personality into consideration when cutting a style, are my strong qualities. I believe a good cut requires less work when getting ready, and works with the hair not against it. Color is always exciting to me, you can drastically alter your look, or just accentuate your natural look. I do love natural looking hair, however I believe each service is unique to the client, and service. I strive to have a finished product that both the client and I can be proud of!
