Tonight, after 37yrs,I lock the doors of the Barber Shop for the last time. Tomorrow, I open the Hair Salon.
Same but different but still
Kevin’s Cutting Company.

The shop is closed this week.
I need sunshine, some retail therapy and a nap.

Please join us at “The Park” (directly across from the shop in our plaza) Sunday, August 9th from 12:noon- 3ish to Celebrate Kevin. We’re keeping it casual as He wanted us to “maybe share some stories and have a drink or two”.

Personally, Ide like Eric to hear some of the wonderful things everyone has been taking the time to tell Me about his Dad. Maybe you can share that with him as well..

Youre reminding me how lucky I’ve been just having him standing next to me all these years.
One thing we can all agree on- the man loved to talk. And I thought I had heard all his stories. LOL, I was wrong. He shared a few more with me towards the end, I’m so thankful for the borrowed time.
Thanks Kevin, you left me with a smile and some great memories.

First I want to Thank each of you for reaching out to show us the support and love you have for us at this time. Seeing all the comments and acknowledgements have been truly uplifting. Some of you we havnt seen in years. This is a true testament of how Kevin could have an effect on those coming through our doors.
That salon has been a place of laughter and smiles that had nothing to do with hair since the late 1900’s. For both Kevin and myself, it has been an amazing place to be able to get to know you and be a part of your lives. I know how much he enjoyed every single conversation that has taken place there. He loved you guys and was so thankful for your loyalty to us all these years.
Kevin’s Cutting Company is family and I will continue to keep the door open for whenever you want to come back home.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Kevin at “The Park” in the plaza in weeks to come. Eric would like to wait until the baby is able to be with him, Alisha and Logan so you can meet His family. I will pass along the date and time as soon as we decide such.
Final note, Kevin was resting peacefully while holding Eric’s hand as he passed. He wouldn’t have wanted anything else. He was loved by many and will be missed. Most of all by Me.
