Worried about your first acupuncture session? While it might feel unusual initially, most people find it incredibly relaxing after the first visit. We can use various techniques like silence exercises or pain patches to help you feel more comfortable.

While on the table, you might feel dull aches, tingling, numbness, or burning. These sensations are normal. Depending on your needs, we might add needles to your legs for motion or give you exercises to loosen hips.

Laying on your back for acupuncture can feel stingy, but the needle insertion is momentary. While on the table, you might experience sensations like a dull ache, tingling, or numbness. It's all part of the process.

During an acupuncture session, you'll be on the table for about 20 minutes. After removing the needles, the practitioner flips you over. Pain patches and heat are often applied to the area if needed, before cleaning the skin and inserting needles on the other side.

Many are nervous about needles, and that's understandable. But these acupuncture needles are incredibly fine, more like hairs than typical medical needles. They're so thin, they could almost be tied in a knot!
