We first met Rachel as one of our models at the The Baldtourage fashion show this past summer!

When she found out we were located just a few towns over from her she said “I know I want you guys” when it came to her wedding hair - which we couldn’t be more grateful for 🥹

She chose a 24” Silk or Lace Collection Halsey wig specially for the detailed hairline so she can slick it back for her wedding! We can’t wait to see how it turns out! 👰🏻‍♀️❤️

As we were doing a photoshoot in a coffee shop for our new lace wig collection, a man came up to us to ask what it was for. Instead of saying “We work for a wig company”, I said “Let me show you” and lifted my wig.

His face was a real life version of this: 😳

That’s where this video starts. After it ends, what you don’t see are the two other times he came up to us to ask us more questions about the wigs like: Are they human hair? How are they made? Why do they look so real? Etc.

A little coffee shop wig photoshoot turned into a beautiful conversation about hair loss and the magic of wigs with a man who had never really thought about it 🥹

Finding a solution for hair loss is a state of mind. If you're not ready to wrap your mind around a hair piece, that is totally ok! Everyone is on their own hair journey and the timing, path, and emotions can look different.

Our client flew from California to visit us and try on hair pieces! She ultimately decided to pre-order a topper with us, but this Naomi wig was just too stunning not to share! Our 4.0 collection is dropping again very soon!!

“Community is everything” ❤️

A few weeks back, our Resale Manager Lily, mentioned that a family member of hers worked with a woman named Shawna who has Alopecia and thought it would be nice to connect us. Online the hair community is vast, but in person, it can be hard to find your people. So, of course we set up a call ASAP!

On that call, we realized just how special the timing really was. At the beginning of her hair loss journey, Shawna wore wigs but always felt like she was using them as a way to hide. Not only hide her Alopecia from the world, but ultimately from herself.

Just 2 weeks before we got connected, Shawna started getting an itch to jump back in to the world of wigs - but this time on her own terms. A choice, not an obligation. So, we invited her to join us at the Walk for Alopecia to learn more about her story and gift her a special surprise 🤭

Our hair community walked all across the nation this weekend to raise funds and awareness for those with Alopecia, and our SLC hat wig was the perfect active wig to pair with the cause 🥰

This morning we had the privilege of hosting a booth at the NAAF (National Alopecia Areata Fdn) national Walk for Alopecia event at the Dallas chapter (Dallas/Frisco Walk for Alopecia), where we had 50 donated hairpieces to give away for free! 💙💛

It’s hard to describe the immense joy and energy we see at these events because there is no feeling like being surrounded by a community that understands and looks like you.
