It is our story, our passion and our mission. Our family-owned and operated business was started by pharmacist and founder Bill Coats. Over 40 years of research, study and hard work resulted in the first and several improved-upon patents to stabilize and process aloe vera. Thanks to our founder’s early discovery, it is now possible to preserve the therapeutic and healing properties of this ancient
plant. No longer limited to your grandmother’s kitchen window, aloe has found its way to the commercial market and has become widely recognized around the world as a beneficial ingredient in cosmetics and pharmaceutical products alike. However, not all aloe products are equal, and active ingredients may be lost early in the harvesting process and further diminished during processing. Many formulas claim aloe on the label, but few have great enough concentration for consumers to have any real benefits. In 2013, the Coats family desired to introduce a new brand of aloe products with a complete line to promote health for the entire body. The Aloe Source includes expertly-formulated skincare for the face, restorative and elegant lotions for the body, and health-giving aloe liquid drink for internal balance. Our products are developed from natural ingredients that are grown, harvested, processed, formulated, and manufactured using over forty years of aloe experience and patent-formulated techniques to insure the delicate chemistry and therapeutic properties remain intact.
