Kidney client got a GFR rating of 23 a day after dialysis, which measures how much dialysis is doing for them, not the strength of kidneys without dialysis.
That's a lot better than their low point of 6 that sent them to the ER to begin dialysis and an indicator of how much better they feel.
These numbers are approximately a % on a scale of 100.
Fifth stage is below 15--dialysis is needed then.
Fourth stage is 16-30. etc.
