NP Comet Cupboard

Lots of food at the Comet Cupboard today (Friday).

Check out the free eye exams for K-12 students at the Polk City Community Library on Monday, August 10th. An appointment is needed.

Thanks to the library to serving the community in so many ways.

We are proud to partner with the North Polk Comet Cupboard to provide an additional location for people to not only get items that they need, but also drop off donations. We even have a mini-fridge for items that need refridgerated.

Thanks to the Comet VB Club for the food donations that were collected at the tournament this past weekend.

This week Andrew and Jack took all the food out of the boxes and bags.

The Youth Group at church checked all the expiration dates so the food is now ready to be shared with our neighbors.

What a fun morning meeting the students, answering questions, and watching their excitement as they dropped off food for the NP Comet Cupboard. The season of sharing and thinking of others. Thank you!

A huge thanks to Emily Young for the the visit from the Thanksgiving/Christmas elves dropping off food from the NP Middle School food drive. The group went quickly to work sorting and stocking shelves. The 7th grade Leadership group rocks!

🥫 Help us FILL THE PANTRY!

Visit any Luana Savings Bank branch, now through Dec. 19, 2025, and drop off any non-perishable food items or monetary donations. Luana Savings Bank will match up to $500 per location!

The Lakes Early Learning Center stopped by the NP Comet Cupboard this morning with all this food. Wow! The kids were great helpers in unpacking the food and then filling the outdoor food pantry.
