As crazy as it sounds, these are words I never thought I’d have to type or say. In my mind, she would live forever.

Nevertheless, last Thursday, the inevitable happened. I lost one of the greatest pillars in my life. My Grandma. The only grandma I’ve ever known. The woman who raised me. She was gone. Forever.

If you know me, then you know what she meant to me, how much she meant to me. She left this world so suddenly and unexpectedly. Although I selfishly wish she were still here, I find peace in knowing that the sweetest woman I’ve ever known is now resting among the angels.

Gran, I ask that you continue to guide me as I strive to become the woman you’ve always told me I am. Help me raise my children with the same love, grace, patience, and faith that you poured into me.

I’ll love you forever and miss you always. 🤎
