🍂 Fall leaves aren't the only things shedding come fall!!!

Did you know that losing 50–100 hairs a day is normal? Don't panic! Your hair has a natural growth cycle, and a little extra fall shedding can be normal.

But remember, shedding and breakage aren't the same thing!

Shedding- full length hair strands.
Common triggers: Seasonal changes, stress, illness and hormonal changes.
(Mostly normal, but if you have concerns, don’t ignore it!)

Breakage- shorter, uneven strands.
Common triggers: Heat styling, bleaching, chemical treatments, friction and excessive tension.
(Unfortunately we can not avoid breakage but you can help control it with proper care and regular trims)

Remember- hair grows from within, from the top, getting regular trims help keep the ends of the strands stronger by trimming off the oldest weakest parts that if left for too long, will split and break!
