It’s amazing what little changes can do for you- in these photos it’s just the lighting-
You can still see the texture in my skin,
The redness around my nose,
Definitely could wax my upper lip 🤪

But it’s just perspective-
Just different lighting -

When I paint I like to black out the room behind me, which then gives my paintings a more flawless look - because of the lighting -
I ain’t mad about it lol

So maybe when we’re looking in the mirror -
and that self doubt starts to come in, maybe we stop ourselves and say it’s just the lighting….

Over these past 6 months I’ve learned to be kinder to myself -
I’ve learned to celebrate small victories-
Stop negative self talk-
Because I would never say those things to my 5 year old self -
I would never tell my girls they aren’t good enough-
their voice doesn’t matter-
So why the hell should (I , we) be telling ourselves that?
Knock it off!
You are beautiful in EVERY lighting -
Bright or Dim…
YOU matter!
Let your voice be heard !
Never stop standing up for yourself!
And never stop speaking YOUR truth!
