Feeling Myself
•
I believe one reason I got into this work is because I’ve always been curious about the sensations felt in my body…since childhood, always
•
I remember scratching my ribs and feeling a little ping in my elbow and wondering how that was connected
•
I remember feeling little “zings” that would travel in a line or stay in one very specific spot
•
Nothing that was translated as pain but as sensation
•
Perhaps that’s why one goal I have in my work is to help others feel sensations, to reclassify pain as a sensation (tho I know there are some of you that would like to slap a B in the face for trying to do just that because your pain is on a whole different level. I see you, I acknowledge the differences that are, and this is not meant for everyone always, but for some that could use it now), to be curious about those sensations, and to soften the fear around those sensations
•
I am so grateful to have spent most of my life curious of sensations felt instead of fearful, although I have had my times in fear believe you me
•
I love this work so dang much and I am even more grateful to share it with you

Date night
•
The gratitude I’ve got for sharing a studio space with this angel for the last…ummmm, has it been 11,12,13 years?
•
WOW little hunny, we sure are good at sharing space
•
Thanks for taking me out to see our favorite guys we vibe with while working on all those special humans

Did you know you’re magic?
•
By allowing your belly to be kissed by the sun you can support your whole?
•
Not too much, not too little, just the right amount
•
Sometimes I get a little too excited and remember why the right balance is key to most things
•
We’ve got science that offers some beautiful insights into lots of the benefits offered AND you’ve got a being that can feel all kinds of sensory input
•
Hang out with you belly out in the sunshine, maybe the sunrise or morning light for 10ish minutes and notice what you feel
•
Notice those sensory inputs
•
Notice how you feel that evening
•
How you sleep
•
Possibilities are endless because you’re g-damn magic

“I’ve been practicing listening to my body instead of my brain. When I want to relax, I allow myself to without judgement. If I want to go to bed at 9pm, I go to bed at 9pm. I’m trying to control less and enjoy each step as I take it.”
•
Is this the medicine for us all? HECK NO
•
Could many of us benefit from this practice? HECK YEA
•
Do some of us need to push it in supportive ways that offer resiliency vs wearing down? YES
•
Do some of us need to sleep for a week and then slowly integrate back into the world? YES
•
Can you see how listening to your body instead of only the brain, or balancing the brain with the body, how that could be supportive in changing some chronic challenges your being is organizing around?
•
It’s all connected, sometimes, a lot of times, less is more 😘

S E L F L O V E•
•
Doesn’t have to be much
•
Doesn’t have to be fancy
•
Perhaps it could be presences with yourself
•
A little more intention with the breath
•
Whatever/however you find support, go play

I N T E N T I O N S
•
A mentor of mine once asked, “Are you even paying attention to your intention?”
•
Intention is a powerful support and the more detailed the more support
•
When readying the studio for a day in treatment we go through a cute little routine of intentions
•
Lighting a candle for Mosley and one for Bill, inviting them and their energy into the space for support
•
Mosley shows up to help us release what no longer serves, finding space to fill with unconditional love and understanding for all that is challenging
•
Bill Lee shows up to help bless with healing abundance while offering us a protective shield, keeping out what does not belong and protecting what does
•
We use Palo santo and Vetiver roots to enhance these intentional offerings to space and being
•
Then we pull a card for the day, asking for soft guidance
•
It’s a beautiful little routine that offers a load of added support to treatment time
•
We love you

Hey, just had to drop you a line. I’m in the midst of a fun, yet not easily articulable, exploration of a new and at the same time familiar embodied experience … a pleasantly bemused mix of ‘oh, that’s interesting’ and ‘what the f**k else has shifted?’ I wore a pretty sweet wig to pick up my daughter from school on Friday …. She - who initially walked right by me - and her friends thought it was hilarious … the other parents were, as you might expect, a mixed bag. I had a great time. Today I made one of the seven classic blunders and gave a vagabond cat one of my dog’s sausage patties … I am so not a cat person and yet now - quite predictably in retrospect - have a feline sitting on the fence watching every move I make. Anyway, a long winded way of saying that the shifts from the work are re / connecting me with parts of myself that I had put aside or stepped away from. So much fun and deeply gratifying to see things that I experienced as intransigent changing / becoming malleable. I can’t begin to tell you how many experiences I’ve had that dance around the edges of things but don’t move the needle. Thank you for helping me open the door of possibility.
•
One clients experience is not every clients experience
•
No two treatments are ever the same
•
Grateful for this client sharing their experience as they are moving through it
•
I love this practice
