EDAN'S PRE-COLOR QUICK TIP:
As necessary as it is to normalize and treat our canvas before actually working on it...sometimes clients don't have the time for the Exure™ Revitalizing Treatment. IF NOT...there still is a way they can feed their hair and ensure it's health before any chemical service:

GET THE WORD OUT: EDAN'S MARKETING ADVICE
We're now past the halfway point business-wise of 2013. For me, I always use this time to evaluate the first half of the year and tweak my marketing efforts for an even stronger second half. Here's a few business must-haves:

- Word of mouth has always been the best for me at landing new clients. Introducing rewards and referral programs has made a big difference for me over the years...just keep it simple and avoid complicated points programs. They're doing you a favor...don't make it a chore for them to get pay back from you.

- Talk with your local neighborhood newspaper and see if they will let you submit a before and after picture of one of your clients for an editorial piece. You target local people and get seen in the media without investing in advertising. If you have a yearly charity event or celebration you do, inform the press as they'll often cover the event without you dropping a dime.

- A Facebook business page these days is a must, but online review sites like Yelp, etc. can also be your friend. Ask your favorite clients to write a review for you and post it on your page or your review site listing. This will give you better search results online which is really how everyone searches these days
