You don’t have to paint a lot of pieces to make a big impact! Just place the highlight where you want the see brightness, don’t over paint and be sure to saturate.

My gloss was Goldwell Gloss Tones 10BC/10PV
For a cool neutral tone.

I love the shine and the 10 minute processing time.

I styled with 1 1/2 inch marcel iron for soft waves.

Color Remover gone wrong!❌

This post isn’t meant to put down any other stylist or this product. It’s just meant for information and I learned something too.

Did you know that CPR Color Remover is not recommended for white or unpigmented hair?

This client reached out to me after having two CPR treatments on her hair at another salon. She had low lights in her natural white hair and was wanting to remove them. She said her hair looked ok when she left with a little tinge of pink.
Within days, her hair was getting pinker and pinker. So she called the salon and they did a second CPR treatment. And of course you can imagine the result, it got worse.

After doing a lot of research, I had her do repeat clarifying shampoos before I would even consider coloring her hair.

Once I finally got her in my chair, it was a lot less pink, but still not close to the White she had originally.

I felt like her could handle a color treatment, and so I chose a Balayage technique because I could place the light and the dark exactly where I needed it.

I used Goldwell US Silk Lift Clay 30 vol
Lowlight Gloss Tones 8n/7np
F I L A M E N T treatment for 20 minutes
Colorance Clear Gloss

Our goal is to get her back to a grey blending color. We were so happy with the first session.😍

✨Traditional Balayage with an upgrade!

I started with traditional Balayage using Goldwell US Light Dimensions
Silk Lift Clay 30 vol.

after processing this, Balayage got an upgrade, I did a base break using Goldwell TopChic 15 vol.
Goldwell doesn’t have a 15 volume so I used to equal parts of 20 volume and 10 volume.

I apply it quickly because it only processes for 3 to 5 minutes I never walk away.
