Sometimes the hardest lies to silence are the ones we tell ourselves.

You’re not enough.
You should be further along by now.
You’re falling behind.
You don’t look like you used to.
You’re not doing enough.
And if we aren’t careful, we start believing those voices.

But then there’s THE TRUTH. 🤍

The truth is, my worth was never supposed to come from how I look, how successful I am, how much I accomplish, how many people like me, or whether everyone understands me.
My worth comes from the One who created me.

God says I am loved.
I am chosen.
I am seen.
I am His.
I have purpose.
even in the seasons when I feel tired, unsure, or not quite like myself He hasn’t changed His mind about me.

I’m still learning to see myself the way God sees me instead of through the eyes of the world.

So on this Sunday, maybe someone else needs this reminder too:

Stop letting a lie speak louder than THE TRUTH.

You are not what someone said about you.
You are not your mistakes.
You are not your insecurities.
You are not the number on the scale, your age, your past, or the season you’re walking through.

You are who God says you are. 🤍

And His voice is the one worth listening to.

Our sweet babies turned 6 yesterday🥳🐾🐾

We celebrated with all their favorite things cupcakes 🧁, hamburgers 🍔, pool time 💦, and of course, their FAVORITE sprinkler! 😂 Safe to say these babies are just a little spoiled… exactly how it should be. ❤️

And can we talk about their adorable birthday bandannas?! 😍 They were handmade by my sweet friend Lucy Amanda Walker She always has our babies looking their best for every holiday, birthday, and special occasion.

24 years married to my favorite person… and my number one unpaid employee. ❤️ Most of you know me as the face behind Spray Tans by Alicia, but what you don’t always see is the man behind the scenes helping me keep it all going. Jr is my builder, fixer, maintenance guy, heavy lifter, problem solver, and my “Babe, I have an idea…” guy. 😂 And somehow after all these years, his paycheck is still just being married to me.
Every crazy idea I dream up, he finds a way to make happen. He builds what I need, fixes what I break, listens to me talk through a million business ideas, and supports me through the exciting days AND the days when owning a small business feels really hard. But what I’m most thankful for has nothing to do with my business.
I’m thankful for how hard he has worked all these years to give our family the life we have. I’m thankful for the way he loves me and our kids so fiercely. They have never had to question whether their dad loves them or whether he show up for them, because he always does❤️

This business may have my name on it, but his heart and hard work are woven into it too. Jr, you truly are the second heart behind my business and one of the biggest reasons I get to continue doing something I love.

I spend my days helping other people glow, but you’re the one who makes me shine a little brighter every single day. ✨

Happy 24th Anniversary to my husband, best friend, biggest supporter, maintenance department, construction crew, and forever Employee of the Month. 😂❤️

1,500 hours of hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and determination all while being an amazing mom, wife, daughter, and friend to so many. You had a lot on your plate, but you kept showing up, kept pushing forward, and made it happen. That says so much about the woman you are. 🤍
I hope you take a moment to really soak this in and be proud of yourself, because you worked HARD for this. You deserve to celebrate every single bit of it!

July, you were rainy but we still made the best of it

Helping my baby girl get ready for one of the most important days of her life is a memory I will treasure forever. I have dreamed of this day for so many years, and somehow it was even more beautiful than I ever imagined.

One of many emotional moments of the day was Haven’s first look with her dad and her brother. Even though I wasn’t in the room, seeing the photos and hearing about that special moment was enough to bring tears to my eyes. The love they share is something truly special.

Haven also gave them each a tie with photos of precious memories they’ve shared together. Such a thoughtful gift, filled with love and meaning. I know it’s something they will both cherish for the rest of their lives.

There are moments in a wedding day that become unforgettable, and this was one of them. My heart is overflowing with gratitude for every beautiful memory made and for the incredible young woman I have the privilege of calling my daughter. 🤍
