In this month's newsletter, we're sharing our Arizona Summer Skin Survival Guide, including tips for nourishing your skin with antioxidant-rich foods, choosing sun-smart protection, and supporting your skin after a day in the sun. Arizona Summer Skin Survival Guide ☀️🌵

My absolute favorite season! I loooove being in the sun, but as we all know, we have to take pre and post care when soaking in those beautiful rays.
The key is learning how to enjoy the sun while keeping your skin healthy, hydrated, and protected. Let's begin with preparing your skin for a day outdoors.

1. Nourish Your Skin From Within
Healthy skin starts long before you apply your skincare products.
Think of food as skincare from the inside out. Fill your plate with antioxidant-rich foods like watermelon, berries, tomatoes, carrots, citrus fruits, and leafy greens. Add healthy fats such as avocados, salmon, walnuts, and chia seeds to help support healthy, hydrated skin, and remember to drink your water!

2. Protect with Daily SPF
Before heading outdoors, apply a broad-spectrum mineral sunscreen.
Some high-SPF formulas may require higher concentrations of UV filters to achieve their SPF rating, so it's always a good idea to review ingredient labels and choose a sunscreen that aligns with your personal preferences and skin needs. Look for a mineral sunscreen that also contains antioxidants and copper peptides. Antioxidants help neutralize free radicals generated by UV exposure, while copper peptides support the skin's natural repair processes and help maintain a healthy, resilient complexion.

3. Give Your Skin Extra Post-Sun Nourishment
After a day in the Arizona sun, your skin may need a little extra TLC.

Look for ingredients that help soothe, hydrate, and replenish moisture, including:

• Aloe Vera
• Hyaluronic Acid
• Green Tea Extract
• Cucumber Extract

Aloe vera is a summertime favorite because it helps calm and hydrate skin after sun exposure. Ingredients like green tea and antioxidants help support the skin against environmental stressors, while hyaluronic acid helps restore hydration.
