You’ve probably heard of lymphatic drainage, often in conversations about “detoxing.” But what does it actually do?

Your lymphatic system is part of your body’s natural fluid and waste-management system, helping collect excess fluid and cellular waste from your tissues and move it along.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) uses very light, slow, rhythmic movements to support that natural flow. It may help with temporary puffiness, swelling and feelings of heaviness from fluid buildup, while also providing a deeply relaxing experience.

While MLD doesn’t “detox” your body for you, it supports a system that plays an important role in your body’s natural cleanup process.
