What season are you in?

A friend asked me a question that has stuck with me!

"If you could describe this season of your life in one word, what would it be?"

Without hesitation, my answer was...

Seeds.

Lately, I've been reminded just how powerful the seeds we plant really are.

The seeds we sow into our children.

The seeds we sow into our marriages.

The seeds we sow into our friendships.

The seeds we sow into our work.

The seeds we sow into our communities.

Every conversation.

Every act of kindness.

Every opportunity to encourage someone.

Every lesson we teach.

Every life we choose to invest in.

For years, I've had the privilege of planting seeds through mental health advocacy, supporting survivors, developing programs, training professionals, walking alongside youth and families, and creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and encouraged.

The more I reflected, the more I realized...

They were all seeds.

Seeds that God had been planting long before I could see the full picture.

Each opportunity, every relationship, every lesson, and every season has been preparing the soil for what comes next.

And that's what makes this season so exciting.

Today, I'd love to introduce you to something that has been quietly growing behind the scenes...

🌱Welcome to Cultivate Co.

Cultivate Co. is more than a new name.

It's the vision that has been taking root in my work for years.

A place where wellness, purpose, community, and growth come together.

A place where seeds become stories, stories become purpose, and purpose creates lasting change.

HER Valley will always hold a special place in this story.

In fact, HER Valley will remain one of Cultivate Co.'s signature programs, continuing to be rooted in Healing, Empowerment, and Restoration.

As Cultivate Co. continues to grow, you'll begin to see other initiatives take root—each one connected by the same mission of planting seeds that strengthen individuals, families, organizations, and communities.

One verse that has been especially meaningful to me during this season is Luke 8:15:

"But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop." — Luke 8:15

I love this verse because it reminds me that every seed has purpose.

Some are planted quietly.

Some take time to grow.

But when nurtured with faith, perseverance, and intention, they produce something far greater than we could have imagined.

Looking back, I can see that every seed mattered.

Looking ahead, I can't wait to share what God continues to grow.

Since reconnecting with so many of you last week, one question has come up several times:

"What have you been up to?"

The answer is simple—I haven't stopped serving!

While HER Valley has been in a season of growth behind the scenes, I've had the privilege of partnering with organizations throughout our community to provide training, support, and resources that strengthen the people doing important work every day.

This past weekend was especially meaningful as I had the opportunity to train staff who work with children in foster care, equipping them with practical tools to recognize mental health concerns, build trusting relationships, and create safe, supportive environments where every child can thrive.

Every opportunity like this reminds me why I do what I do. Whether it's through holistic wellness, mental health education, or helping organizations better serve their communities, my heart has always been the same—to help people heal, grow, and flourish.

HER Valley continues to be part of that mission, and I'm excited to share more of this journey with you in the weeks ahead.

Hello, HER Valley family.

It's been a while.

Over the past year, life, family, work, and new opportunities have taken me in many different directions. During that time, I made the decision to close our physical HER Valley location and embrace a new season. While I never officially shared that transition, the heart behind HER Valley never disappeared.

What I didn't realize at the time was just how much that season would shape the future of HER Valley. Stepping away from the storefront created the space to dream bigger, gain clarity, and reconnect with the heart of this mission. It wasn't an ending—it was the beginning of something even greater.

HER Valley has always been rooted in Healing, Empowerment, and Restoration. It's a place centered on holistic wellness and creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and encouraged. That mission is still very much alive.

Over the next few months, you'll notice some exciting changes as HER Valley grows into something even bigger. The heart behind this community isn't changing—it's expanding!!!

For now, I'm simply grateful to be back. I'm looking forward to reconnecting, sharing what we've been working on, and inviting you into this next season as it unfolds naturally.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support, encourage, and believe in this vision—even during the quiet seasons. Your kindness, patience, and encouragement have meant more than you know.

Job Opportunity: Program Coordinator
Location: HER Valley Wellness Center
Position Type: Part-time (15-20 hours/week)

✨ About Us:
HER Valley is a women’s wellness and resource center dedicated to promoting mental and emotional well-being through peer support groups, mentor programs, advocacy, workshops, events, and wellness products. We are seeking a passionate and organized Program & Wellness Coordinator to help us grow our impact.

🌿 Key Responsibilities:

Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers, ensuring they are effectively engaged and supported.

Workshop & Event Coordination: Plan, organize, and host wellness workshops and events, including scheduling, promotion, and on-site coordination.

Community Engagement: Build relationships with local organizations, businesses, and wellness professionals to collaborate on programs and events.

Storefront Assistance: Support the day-to-day operations of our storefront, including selling teas, wellness products, and handling customer interactions.

Administrative Support: Manage program-related documentation, assist with scheduling, and ensure smooth operational flow.

🌸 Qualifications:

Passion for women’s wellness and nonprofit work.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Experience in event planning, volunteer coordination, or nonprofit operations is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with a small, dedicated team.
