Word of the Week: Loyalty
Monday
True loyalty isn’t just a human effort; it requires the Holy Spirit working in our hearts to keep our focus where it truly belongs. Starting the week with my eyes fixed on Him.
My focus word for this week is Loyalty, and it really has me reflecting. It’s easy to split our loyalty between family, friends, work, or church. But I’m realizing that true, steadfast loyalty belongs to God first. In fact, we can’t love or be truly loyal to others the right way without the Holy Spirit working in our hearts.
It comes down to a tough question we all have to face: Do I want to fit in and be accepted by the world, or do I want to be loyal to God no matter the cost? Galatians 1:10 reminds us: “For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.”
Choosing Him over approval every single time, this is my desire.

Sabbath
Heading into the weekend with a grateful heart. True rest isn’t just a break from work; it’s a posture of the soul when we leave our worries in His hands. Wishing you all a peaceful Sabbath! 🌅
Friday
Look back at the week—work, family, world events. You made it through. Not by your own power, but because you are protected and sustained in Christ. So grateful for His faithful shelter. 🙌
Thursday
"I don't always choose to cling to Him, but I need to." Reminding myself of my own words today. It’s a daily, moment-by-moment choice to run to the Refuge. 🏃♂️⚓
Wednesday
Mid-week reminder: When your own strength is running on empty, you don't have to force it. His strength is perfectly made for our weak moments. Take a deep breath and rest in Him. 🛡️
Tuesday
You don't have to physically escape your stressful environment to find peace. Right where you are, in the middle of the chaos, He is a "very present help." Lean in today. 🤍
Monday
Starting the week by intentionally choosing where I place my focus. The world is loud, but His promise of peace is louder. Choosing the Refuge today. 🙏✨
Life can get incredibly overwhelming. Between world events, workplace stress, and the daily dynamics with family and friends, there are many things we simply can’t physically run away from. But I’m reminding myself this week that we don’t have to run away to find safety.
My focus word for the week is Refuge.
I’ve found that in the very midst of the chaos, Jesus is our ultimate refuge and our strength. I’ll be the first to admit I don’t always choose to cling to Him the way I should, but when I do, He changes everything. Turning to Him allows us to live a life of true peace and rest.
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." — Psalm 46:1 (KJV)
If you're feeling overwhelmed today, remember you don't have to carry it all. Run to the refuge. ✨
