When you’re using an extension color ring, are you picking up the hair and color matching from underneath, or are you just laying the swatch right on top of the head?
You want to match the swatch to their roots, mids, and throughout the ends. When you find the right match, it should disappear into their natural hair.
Some of our shades come without a root intentionally. It gives you the creative freedom to customize the hair to your client, instead of being restricted by a root that’s already there. They’re not meant to just be thrown in as-is.
