We did this transformation on the fly today and I am OBSESSED. 😍🔥
She’s seriously making me miss my calico hair! 😂 I guess I’ll just have to live vicariously through this beauty though!
For this transformation, we created a custom hybrid extension install using 16” wefts for length + fullness and Micro K-Tips in the front for those bold blonde pops. ✨ Using the K-Tips around the front gave us the freedom to customize the placement and really bring that calico-inspired contrast to life.
And THAT before + after?! 👀 The transformation speaks for itself!

One of my favorite things about K-Tips is how customizable they are — we can create dimension, brightness, length AND fullness while being intentional about the health of her natural hair. 🤍
For this transformation, instead of lightening all of her natural hair underneath, I only highlighted the top section to create a seamless blend. For the rest, I let the blonde K-Tips to act as her highlights. ✨
Her natural color gives us the perfect depth between the blonde extensions, creating that beautiful dimensional, highlighted look — without having to lighten all of her natural hair.
The result: gorgeous blonde dimension, 20” of wavy length and fullness, while keeping as much of her natural hair untouched and healthy as possible. 🥰
Sometimes the extensions ARE the color transformation. 👀✨

Your first attempt doesn’t have to be good. It just has to be your first attempt. 💞
The bond on the right was one of my very first attempts at creating my own K-tip bonds (for practice of course).And yeah… it needed some work. 😂
Not enough keratin for the amount of hair, too much density, a strip that was way too thick (from top to bottom), and that bottom edge was definitely doing its own thing.
The bond on the left is how I make them now. ✨

I wanted to share this because sometimes we look at someone else’s work and only see where they are now. We don’t see the awkward first attempts, the things that didn’t work, or all the times they had to try again.
You are allowed to suck at something before you become good at it.
Try the thing that intimidates you. Make the ugly first attempt. 😂 Figure out what went wrong. Adjust it. Try again. And again.
Failure isn’t proof that you can’t do something — sometimes it’s literally how you learn how to do it.
I’m pretty proud of that messy little bond on the right, because without her, I wouldn’t be making the one on the left today. 🥹💞
My suite is pretty much DONE! 🥹💞🌿 I still have a few finishing touches to add, but I am absolutely in love with how my new space came together!
I had so much fun bringing this vision to life, and honestly, I found myself smiling through so much of the process. 🥰 There’s something really special about creating a space from the ground up that feels completely like me.

Leia so kindly offered to help me and I hope she had as much fun as I did. We both have never hung peel and stick wallpaper before but I think we did a good job!
Praying it stays 🙏🏻 because that wall had a lot of texture and the wallpaper was having a little trouble sticking, but we used Eazy Hang so hopefully that helps.

This faux limewash technique was a lot harder than I thought it was going to be 😂 and pretty much took me all day… but seeing it come together made it SO worth it. I’m in love with how it turned out! 🤍
There’s still plenty to do—wallpaper to hang, wood panels to put up, furniture to build—but little by little, this space is starting to feel like mine. 🥹
I’ve been putting so much love and intention into creating a space that feels beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming, and I seriously cannot wait to invite you all in. 💕
