We’re excited to welcome Nevada Health Link as a Gold Sponsor for MenoPalz’s two-day event this October!

One of the challenges employers face is helping employees understand the resources already available to them. Health insurance can be complicated, and insurance literacy is an important part of helping people better understand their coverage, options and how to navigate the healthcare system.

That is exactly what Nevada Health Link brings to the conversation.

On October 14, Nevada Health Link will join our SHRM professional development session to bring insurance literacy into a broader discussion about menopause at work, benefits navigation and organizational readiness. Their support also helps us bring Nevada’s first screening of The M Factor 2: Before the Pause – Perimenopause to Reno on October 15.

For employers, this is the value of bringing the right experts into the room. Menopause support does not sit in one department or come from one solution. HR, managers, benefits, healthcare and insurance literacy all play a role in helping employees understand where to go and what resources may be available to them.

We’re excited to have Nevada Health Link at the table and grateful for their support in bringing insurance literacy into this broader conversation for Nevada employers and our community.

BIG NEWS for October 14-15!

We’re excited to welcome the Nevada Women's Fund as our first Platinum Sponsor supporting MenoPalz’s two-day employer education event and Nevada’s first screening of The M Factor 2: Before the Pause - Perimenopause.

Their investment helps us bring something different to Nevada: two days built to give employers, HR teams, benefits leaders and organizational decision-makers a clearer understanding of how menopause can affect the workforce and what practical support can look like inside an organization.

We’re bringing together workplace education, employment law, benefits and insurance literacy, clinical expertise and the lived experience captured in The M Factor 2 so leaders can connect what employees are experiencing with real organizational decisions around retention, accommodations, manager readiness and employee support.

Having the Nevada Women’s Fund step in at the Platinum level is a big moment for MenoPalz and for the work we’re building here in Nevada. We are incredibly excited to have them at the table!

There is a reason we bring clinicians into the workplace conversation.

Kiersten Smith Gregory, PA-C, MSCP, founder of Revival Medicine in Reno, works with women every day who are trying to understand what is happening during perimenopause and menopause, what their options are and how to make informed decisions about their health.

As Kiersten shares in this video, education changes what is possible. That matters for women, and it matters for the organizations where they spend a significant part of their lives.

At MenoPalz, we believe employers need access to credible clinical education without asking HR or managers to become healthcare providers.

Understanding the transition helps leaders better understand what may be showing up in the workplace, where employer responsibility begins and ends, and how benefits, accommodations and workplace support can work together.

Kiersten will be with us for both days in October, bringing that clinical perspective into a larger conversation alongside workplace strategy, employment law, benefits and insurance literacy.

On October 15, she will also help connect what audiences see in The M Factor 2: Before the Pause – Perimenopause to what clinicians are seeing in practice and what women need to understand about this transition.

HR and organizational leaders: if you want to understand what perimenopause can actually look like inside your workforce, hear it directly from a physician who has spent her career advancing women’s healthcare.

Sophia Yen, MD, MPH, MSCP, CEO and Co-Founder of Pandia Health, is coming to Reno and inviting you to join us.

Sophia brings the clinical perspective employers need to better understand what can be happening behind changes in concentration, sleep, attendance, confidence, performance and retention during perimenopause, and why workplace support starts with understanding what employees may actually be experiencing.

She will join our national experts as we connect the clinical reality to the workplace decisions HR and leadership are being asked to make.

HR and organizational leaders: get an inside look at how menopause-related workplace protections are already changing employer responsibilities, and what your organization should be preparing for now.

Philadelphia has enacted Bill No. 250849, amending its Fair Practices Ordinance to explicitly protect employees from discrimination based on menstruation, perimenopause and menopause, with reasonable accommodation requirements under qualifying circumstances beginning January 1, 2027.

MenoPalz is bringing Michael S. Cohen, Partner at Duane Morris LLPand nationally recognized employment attorney and SHRM speaker, to Reno to take employers inside what this looks like in practice. Michael advises employers in Philadelphia and will share what organizations are seeing, how accommodation requests and workplace practices are being approached, where employer risk can emerge, and what HR, managers and leadership should understand before these decisions become reactive.

This is not another menopause awareness event. It is an opportunity to learn from a market where workplace requirements are already changing and use that insight to strengthen your own workforce strategy.

Perimenopause can begin years before menopause, yet it remains one of the most misunderstood stages of a woman’s working life.

Dr. Amy Day, ND, MSCP, featured in The M Factor Film Before the Pause – Perimenopause, is coming to Reno to help close that gap.

For employers, understanding this stage matters. Symptoms can begin while women are still building careers, leading teams and carrying significant organizational knowledge. Amy will help bring the clinical context behind what The M Factor 2 reveals and why understanding what happens before the pause matters in the workplace.
